I devote my time to creating artwork of interest to me, which for the past six years has been animals both domestic and exotic. I am intrigued by the nuances of texture and the variety of shifts in tone as light plays across my subject. Working in ink or Conté to complete a drawing is a challenge as those media do not allow for changes after a mark is laid. down.
